PROGRAM COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS

Listed are the requirements for completion of the program:

1.   Behavior -  improvement in behavior which is warranted placement.

2.   Participation in social, emotional learning and discussion on goal setting.

3.   Attendance - student cannot have more than three unexcused absences.

4.   Grades - satisfactory academic progress, based on academics, while at Sumter Academy.

5.   Students must participate in College and Career Readiness discussions with CES.

The Superintendent has the authority to return a student to their home school.  After the student successfully completes the alternative program, the principal will schedule a transition meeting to return the student to their home school.
